Shaily Patel Kesani, MD

Board Certified Dermatologist

Shaily Patel Kesani, MD is a board certified dermatologist. She has an interest in all your general dermatologic needs, ranging from pediatric to adult dermatology, along with surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University.  She then went on to complete medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Subsequently she completed an intern year focused in pediatric and internal medicine at Georgetown University. Her dermatology training culminated with her residency at the prestigious University of Chicago, where she served as co-chief resident in her final year. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. 

Dr. Kesani is extensively trained and knowledgeable in general dermatology and seeks to provide her patients with high quality care. She understands the complexities involved in skin conditions, and tailors her treatments to each individual person. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is married and works alongside her husband, Anil Kesani, who owns Spine MD. They have 2 small children and have been in the DFW area for over 5 years. She has a love for traveling, which stems from her childhood, as she has lived in many different places over the years. She was born in England, moved to Boston, then Orlando and finally West Virginia in high school. From there, her academic career took her to Pittsburgh, Washington D.C, Chicago and now to the DFW area.

She is excited to have founded Dermatology MD and is dedicated to providing patients with a premier skin center for all their dermatologic needs.
